AntiSlavery Courts:
In the latest issue of the Yale Law Journal, Jenny Martinez has a fascinating article on 19th century anti-slavery courts: Antislavery Courts and the Dawn of International Human Rights Law. Plus, Jenny has posted photos of some of the original documents from these courts over at the YLJ Pocket Part. Very cool.
Pedant:
Very interesting, but not cool that none of the journal editors who proofread this article seems to know the difference between "forebear" and "forbearer" (p. 631, l. 2)! Can't we expect more from Yale students?

Please explain. Merriam Webster lists "forbear" as a variant of "forebearer." So what's the problem?
