Britney Spears

is a singer? Who knew?

Ex-Fed (mail) (www):
You've got to admire someone who can remain standing after she's become a living Yo Momma joke. "You momma so irresponsible, they took her kids away and gave them to Kevin Federline for their own good!"

Never misunderestimate Ms. Spears. She is a veritable polymath (caution: marginally worksafe, depending on PC quotient of employer).

While the number one album, and number one concert draw, in the country barely gets any air play. What a crime!

Airplay? They(? He? She?) can't even get a link!

As a blogger, would you risk being disbarred for your duties/rights as a journalist? Just curious after reading the article linked below:

Springsteens hey day has come and gone. I remember when I even liked him. But hey that was before I knew anything about politcs and did not realize songs werr political. That was along time ago when I was young and he was still several years older than me.

Only for certain definitions of "singer".

If you go by the more standard definition, which includes actually having a singing voice that sounds good without the help of audio post-production software, I don't believe she qualifies.

Moron Springstein would be an awesome name for a coverband.

Try and sing "Radio Nowhere" to 867-5309.

I don't know about "concert draw", but the number one album this week is by Carrie Underwood. Number two is by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. Number three is Gary Allen. All but Plant are country artists and the Plant/Krause album may be country, as is the number 8 album. Number 10 is "High School Musical".

Springstein has fallen out of the top 10. Even Kid Rock is beating him now.

Isn't the long-awaited new Eagles album out now too? That oughta push Springsteen down one more notch.

Well, not really a singer but close enough for the studio tools/software to be able do their function. Of course, 100,000 other females could have done the exact same thing on those tracks, instead of Britney, and the final product would sound at least as good.
