The Hofstra Law Review has an introduced a blog-inspired new feature, Ideas. Each "Idea" is a 5-to-10 page mini-essay; the first issue has published Ideas from Dan Farber, Jonathan Macey, Ron Rotunda, and Aaron Twerski. They're all available on the web, of course. Thanks to Matt Bodie for the link.
