Well, I knew what the list was, but I didn't know the next one, so I had to research to find it. I'll leave my guess somewhat cryptic in case anyone knew off the top of their head... but I would say this one is Thoroughly Modern.

After googling, it occurred to me that 36 hounds, like George Washington's, would be handy at news conferences with the White House press corps.

I didn't see a Dachshund on the list at http://www.factmonster.com/ipka/A0768598.html. I wonder if the presidents just want anybody else assuming authority.
