William Pitt the Younger, "Boy Premier":
very interesting column by Max Boot
Max Boot writes: "That he [Hague] has chosen to produce a serious biography rather than simply undertake the usual round of profitable, if dreary, company directorships and consultancies is very much to his credit, but less unusual in British politics than it would be here."
Writing his biography of Pitt hasn't stopped Hague topping MPs' earning league. According to The Guardian, his 'second jobs' earned him £1m last year. He is thought to have made £200,000 from the book and a separate undisclosed sum for serialization rights in the Sunday Telegraph. Go
